From Baltimore/Washington
- Rte 50 east over the Bay Bridge, Stay on Rte. 50 to the 50/301 split
- Take Rte. 301 N. to Rte. 213 Intersection ( About 6 miles past the 50/301 split)
- Take 213 N. and Proceed through Centerville to Chestertown
- Pass Washington College
- The Black-Eyed Susan is just past the college on the right.
From Philadelphia/Wilmington DE and Points North
- Take I-95 South to Elkton, Exit 109 (First after toll both)
- Follow MD Rte. 279 through Elkton to Rte. 213 South
- Stay on 213 S. past Chesapeake City, Georgetown, and Galena (Note: 213 turns right in Galena)
- 5.7 mile south of the Galena right turn, you will be at the Rte 298 intersection in Chestertown
- Cross through the intersection and The Black-Eyed Susan will be immediately on the left
